Hi there!

My name is Reagan Rodriguez (also called Ray by friends and family). With LA roots, I am a Mexican-American creative based in Philly trying to find my way back to art one project at a time.

I very much enjoy the creative flow by way of watercolor, oil, gouache, and the occasional digital illustration. I am inspired by nature, light and shadow playing on a subject, and the beauty in my community. When I am not reading or hiking, you can find me working in my home my friends call “the treehouse”.

Returning to Art

I am so glad you are here! Art was a huge part of my adolescence and for the longest time I left the practice while pursuing research. I have a background in higher education and had the pleasure to study in New York for several years. My art work is ever growing and I love dabbling in different styles. I love the creative flow state but also enjoy space to make mistakes or experiment. I am grateful to bring folks along on the journey.
